Tuesday, October 2nd: Project Introduction
  • Project assignment and task
  • Discussion about wikispaces and global audience
  • Wiki video: Wikis in Plain English
  • Wikispace and discussion tips
  • Select region and find group members
  • Begin discussing project and game plan
  • Homework: Visit the wikispace and get yourself familiar with the project. Read at least one website about your region and be ready to post 3 interesting things to your group's discussion tab once you create your account tomorrow.

Wednesday, October 3rd: ILL Lab - Wiki Creation and Research
  • Create a wikispaces account
  • How to edit and create the wikispace
  • Meet and collaborate with your group members about organization of wikispace.
  • Being Research and creation of MLA works cited. See the Resources page for web tools to help with formatting.
  • Homework: Create your Region's section of the wikispace and add essential information. Continue research and group discussion.

Thursday, October 4th: ILL Lab - Research and Wiki Creation
  • Continuation of research and works cited.
  • Creation of wikispace including embedded files such as videos, slideshows, music, images, (See the Resources link for tools on the internet.)
  • Begin to write French paragraph.
  • Homework: Post at least two of your sources to your group's discussion board, in MLA format. Continue research.

Friday, October 5th: ILL Lab - Research and Wiki Creation
  • Continuation of research and works cited.
  • Creation of wikispace including embedded files such as videos, slideshows, music, images, (See the Resources link for tools on the internet.)
  • Write French paragraph, peer editing
  • Begin creation of group activity to teach lesson. You can create worksheets, readings, games, homework assignments, movies, power points, etc.
  • Homework: Complete and post French paragraph on wikispace. Discussion on wikispace. Continue research.

Monday, October 8th: ILL Lab - Wiki Creation and Presentation Planning
  • Discussion with group about the wikispace so far and what needs to be changed, added, etc.
  • Creation of wikispace including embedded files such as videos, slideshows, music, images, (See the Resources link for tools on the internet.)
  • Plan presentation with group members. Decide who will present what and in what order.
  • Begin working on Lesson Plan - How are you going to teach your lesson?
  • Read and help edit one other person's French paragraph. Offer suggestions on discussion tab.
  • Homework: Discussion about the lesson plan and activity your group will do after you have taught your topics to the class. Post one idea and one response for credit.

Tuesday, October 9th: ILL Lab - Wiki Creation and Presentation Planning
  • Discussion with group about the wikispace so far and what needs to be changed, added, etc.
  • Creation of wikispace including embedded files such as videos, slideshows, music, images, (See the Resources link for tools on the internet.)
  • Work on group Lesson Plan - How are you going to teach your lesson?
  • Group activity - What will you use to teach / evaluate your lesson?
  • Homework: Discussion about the presentation. Post at least one idea and respond to one other idea for credit.

Wednesday, October 10th: ILL Lab - Presentation Planning and Rehearsal
  • Lesson Plan: Get together with your group and begin typing up lesson plan TODAY.
  • Wikispace: You should finish the wikispace today with all topics covered.
  • Presentation: Work on presentation.
  • Activity: Create your activity/worksheet.
  • Homework: Complete your section of the wikispace.

Thursday, October 11th: ILL Lab - Presentation Planning and Rehearsal
  • Lesson Plan: Finish lesson plan.
  • Wikispace: Finalize wikispace with group members.
  • Presentation: Finalize presentation and rehearse.
  • Activity: Complete group activity and rehearse how you will implement it and review it.
  • Homework: Presentation!

Monday, October 15th: North and West Presentations

Tuesday, October 16th: Central and Southwest Presentations

Wednesday, October 17th: South and East Presentations
